Prof Dr Syed Samsuddin Ahmed, Vice Chancellor of Bangamata Sheikh Fojilatunnesa Mujib Science and Technology University (BSFMSTU), received Covid-19 vaccine at Rajshahi Medical college hospital (RMCH) on Saturday.
RMCH Director Brigediar General Jamilur Rahman and RMC principal Prof. Dr Nawshad Ali were present during the occasion.
After taking the first shot of the vaccine he said, it felt like getting a regular flu or pneumonia vaccine. Each and every one of the country should come forward and participate in the Covid-19 vaccination campaign.

Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi on Sunday paid homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman marking the great leader’s triumphant return to independent Bangladesh from Pakistani jail.
On this historic day, Jan 10 in 1972, Bangabandhu returned home nearly a month after Bangladesh gained victory in the nine-month liberation war against the Pakistani occupation forces.
Speaking on the occasion, Bangladesh High Commissioner to India Muhammad Imran paid tribute to Bangabandhu describing his homecoming as a complete fulfillment of the victory.
He recalled the help and assistance of India under the leadership of late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and the 1971 War of Liberation in which three million people laid down their lives.

Bangamata Sheikh Fojilatunnesa Mujib Science & Technology University (BSFMSTU) has observed the historic Homecoming Day of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman amid festivity and fervour.
The day’s program started with hoisting of the national and the university flags at the varsity Administrative office at 09:30 am on Sunday.
University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Syed Samsuddin Ahmed and teachers and officers placed wreaths at the portrait of Bangabandhu in the BSFMSTU campus.
On January 10, 1972, Bangabandhu had returned to independent and sovereign Bangladesh after over nine and a half months of captivity in a Pakistan jail.
