Protest behind me. There were several thousand people crowding this lawn in front of Baltimore City hall an hour ago. We are told they might be marching towards camden yards where the os are playing. We can tell you 25yearold freddie gray died in Police Custody in baltimore with a spinal injury. That sparked a week of protests. Six officers admitted he was not properly buckled in. Protesters say they are asking for a prompt protest and a bigger investigation than they have had. The longer the investigation the bigger the coverup. A week isnt very much time. A week is not much reasonable time. Obviously there are factors into play. He had his larynx crushed and he had one or three vertebraes broken in his spine. You did see some scuffles break out between people saying it was time to go home and people wanting to statement in fact this afternoon we saw the largest demonstration yet held peacefully in baltimore with students marching from Baltimore Penn station to city hall. Thousands of students marched on Baltimore City hall this evening. The largest peaceful demonstration the city has seen since the death of freddie gray. Organized by College Students from several Baltimore Area universities, the students gathered at penn stay, then headed for city hall. We are the ones that are getting murdered in the streets. They are coming for us. We want to reclaim our city. This is our city, our streets.
