Knox and Waldo County voters favor the Citizen Initiative Question 2, “Do you want to ban foreign governments and entities that they own, control, or influence from making campaign contributions or financing communications for or against candidates.
While most headed to the polls for state-wide races, there were local issues on the ballots, too. In two McCracken County precincts, people voted on alcohol sales.
In Tuesday's general election, there are 35 City Council races with more than one candidate on the ballot, as well as contests for District Attorney, Civil Court, Surrogate and Supreme Court judges, and two proposals that would amend the state constitution in relation to debt limits.
