november the 5th, i m alex velshi, there are only three days left of 2020 midterms, said to be one of the most important consequential elections in modern history. not only is control of both chambers of congress up for grabs, but the integrity of future elections will be decided by a number of key races this year. that is because the majority of republicans running for congress in statewide office, 291 of them according to the washington post, about the question or flat out lied about the legitimacy of the results of the 2020 elections. and many of them are likely to win. those candidates are largely sycophants of the twice impeached insurrectionist ex president donald trump. who have either been diluted by his big lie about a stolen election that never happened, or simply repeat the big lie for their own political benefit. it is a dangerous lie, that is already led to an insurrection at the seat of our government, and i have this year s midterm elections, election officials
