Yuri Kot said: “Their task is to simply provide cover. So that genuine Western cutthroats or cutthroats funded by the West could enter Belarus under the opposition's flags. But Ukraine does not have enough strength to fight even on the current frontline.”
Ukraine's security services invited activists of Belarus' self-exiled opposition in order to force them “to at least start talking more actively about an incursion into Belarus if they cannot try to organize it.” A Ukrainian foundation that belongs to Soros' network allocated money for organizing the conference.
According to the TV channel ONT, concerned Ukrainian citizens, who do not approve of the Ukrainian government's actions and plans to launch a military incursion into Belarus, leaked information about the conference.
About 80 people out of more than 300 intended participants took part in the conference. Most of them were fighters of the Kalinovsky Regiment. The prominent opposition leaders Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, Pavel Latushko, and Zenon Poznyak were expected to turn up in person but made online appearances later on.
