City reminds residents to not place glass in blue bins

There s been a lot of glass items placed in recycling bins and as a result, glass which is heavier in weight and more destructive when compacted compared to cardboard and plastic is breaking and contaminating the entire load. This creates problems for the city such as extra shipping costs as well as discarding recyclable loads.
