SKIMS former Technical Officer, 12 others die of Corona SKIMS former Technical Officer, 12 others die of Corona Fayaz Bukhari SRINAGAR, May 27: Kashmir today reported 1805 fresh cases of COVID-19 including 64 inmates of Kupwara jail while 13 persons died here. Those who died today include a former Technical officer Radiology SKIMS. The others include a 65-year-old man from Magarmal Bagh Batamaloo,68-year-old woman from Dalgate Srinagar, a 75-year-old man from Hawal Srinagar, a 70-year-old woman from Batamaloo Srinagar, a 65-year-old woman from Kunzer Tangmarg in Baramulla district, a 73-year-old woman from Ompora Budgam, a 68-year-old retired doctor from Baghat Srinagar, a 60-year-old woman from Badragund Anantnag and a 65-year-old woman from Kund Kulgam.

Among the fresh fatalities, they said, 13 deaths were reported from Jammu and nine from Kashmir Valley. Among others, the officials told that a 68-year-old woman from Baghat Srinagar died at CD hospital, 13 days after remaining admitted to one of the exclusive facilities for the management of the cobid-19 patients. A 75-year-old woman from Rawalpora, they said, died at SMHS hospital, six days after she was admitted with bilateral Community Acquired Pneumonia (CAP). An 80-year-old man from Khidam Nowsheera diagnosed with bilateral CAP died a day after he was admitted to GMSC Anantnag, they said. A 55-year-old woman from Pushwara Khanbal died at midnight at GMC Anantnag, they said.

Those who died includes Javed Ahmad Mir, Director CNS Infotel Services Pvt Ltd. Mir was suffering from COVID-19 but had recently tested negative. CNS is the first private internet service provider in Kashmir. Others who died include a 68-year-old woman from Baghat Srinagar, a 75-year-old woman from Rawalpora, an 80-year-old man from Khidam Nowshera, a 55-year-old woman from Pushwara Khanabal in Anantnag, a 65-year-old woman from Azadgunj Baramulla, an 80-year-old woman from Pattan, a 55-year-old woman from Reshigund Kralpora, an 89-year-old woman from Bemina Srinagar and a 50-year-old from Shopian.

Mehbooba Visits Home Of Cop Killed In Srinagar Attack, Bats For Dialogue With Pakistan SRINAGAR: People’s Democratic President and former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Saturday batted for dialogue with Pakistan to end the bloodshed in Kashmir. As per news agency KNO, she visited Logripora , Aishmuqam Anantnag to express sympathies with the bereaved family of constable Suhail Ahmad who was killed in a militant attack in Baghat area of Srinagar on Friday. While talking with reporters on the sidelines of the condolence meeting, Mehbooba said that there is a need to start a dialogue with Pakistan, who according to India are spreading violence in Kashmir, to end this bloodshed here.
