Still arguing with your friends, neighbors, family, strangers about the best bagel in New Jersey?
There are so many good joints in the Garden State. After all, New Jersey, according to, ahem, New Jersey, proclaims itself to be Bagel Capital of the World, a proclamation the folks across the bridge don t particularly relish. But according to Food & Wine magazine, New Jersey does indeed have great bagels. It recently named Teaneck Road Hot Bagels one of the best in the country. (A few New York City spots were also named, but, due to location bias, we ll ignore that.)
Food & Wine magazine apparently crisscrossed the country pre-COVID to find the country s most deliciously dense but airy, chewy and crusty bagels, and came up with a list of nearly 50, and Teaneck Road Hot Bagels was one of the honorees.
