Share: COLOMBO (News 1st): Badalkumbura Police has discovered a letter with regard to the Sub Inspector who committed suicide after being identified as the perpetrator who murdered a woman and left her headless body inside a travelling bag in Dam Street, Colombo, Sri Lanka Police said on Wenesday (Mar. 03). “The magisterial inquest of the Sub-Inspector will be conducted today (03) by the Moneragala Magistrate’s Court and an autopsy will be conducted at the Sirigala Hospital by the Judicial Medical Officer,” Police Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana told News 1st. Further investigations are underway. Earlier on Wednesday (Mar. 03), Sri Lanka Police revealed that the identity of the headless female body discovered inside a large travelling bag left unattended at Gas Works Junction in Dam Street, Colombo on Monday (Mar. 01), was confirmed.
