Police say they have arrested this man, 63yearold Mitchell Bacom for the kidnapping, rape and murder of a 14yearold girl in antioch 37 years ago. They took him into custody just after 5 00 tonight. She was baby sitting the night she disappeared. A fisherman discovered her body in the river days later. Obtaining this positive identify case for her killer became a reality. After decades with few leads, investigators reopened the case in 2015. They matched bacom to the crime using dna evidence thanks to his lengthy criminal record.
