Residents of Bukit Antarabangsa say they have been protesting against the high-rise development since 2016 but have not been informed on the project’s status.
A RESIDENTS task force in Ampang, Selangor, is urging the local authorities to reveal reasons for approving a development project in an environmentally-sensitive area in Bukit Antarabangsa.
The Bukit Antarabangsa Task Force (BATF) – a coalition of 30 residents’ associations joint management bodies and management committees – said the area was too high risk for such a commercial project.
It is learnt that approval was given by the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) for
the construction of several blocks of high-rise towers comprising office suites and a multi-level carpark at the junction of Jalan Wangsa 1 and Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2).
