The Ministry of Ayush through its research council, the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) has taken this health initiative for Tribal Students in collaboration with the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and ICMR-NIRTH Jabalpur.
The Ayush Ministry on Tuesday announced that it will launch a national level project of health screening and management through ayurvedic interventions that will benefit over 20,000 tribal students.The project, to be launched here on Wednesday .
The event will be jointly organised by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI)
The collaboration aims to establish a pluralistic health system that caters to the population s diverse needs, the Department-related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Health and Family Welfare said in its report
