The family of an engineer who died when his car sank in floodwaters in Sydney s west has been farewelled by his family, who were forced to watch from a car after arriving from Pakistan.
Ayaz Younus, 25, died while driving to his first day at a new job in Glenorie when his car sank in rising floodwaters on March 24.
His parents flew from Pakistan to attend the funeral for their son on Wednesday, however they were unable to join the mourners for the service because they were still in Covid-19 quarantine - only allowed out, wearing masks and in a car, under a special exemption.
