The woman filed a lawsuit stating that she issued the cheque to her ex-husband five years ago, to buy her a piece of land, but he did not and claimed that he tore it up.
He also demanded that the appellee would pay the legal interest of 5% from the date of filing the lawsuit until full payment, besides fees and expenses and the lawyer’s fees.
The court added that the statements she submitted were without support or evidence, and that the bank statements she submitted did not prove that she lent him the amounts.
The court pointed out that the complainant submitted only a copy of the payment data for the special promotional offer fees and did not provide evidence of her request for any services from the appellee.
