The Baltimore Ravens defeated the Los Angeles Rams 37-30 in overtime at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore on Sunday. The Ravens won after wide receiver Tylan Wallace returned a punt for 76 yards for a touchdown. The Ravens are 10-3 while the Rams are 6-7.
Tylan Wallace caught the punt cleanly — no easy feat on this wet day — then slipped to his left, spinning away from one potential tackler and racing past a couple of more while barely staying inbounds along the sideline. In his first game returning punts as a pro, Wallace ran one back 76 yards for a touchdown in overtime to lift the Ravens to a 37-31 victory over Los Angeles on Sunday, snapping the Rams' three-game winning streak. Wallace became the fourth player in NFL history to score a touchdown on a punt return in OT.
John Harbaugh insists he saw Puka Nacua's incredible rookie season coming. Nacua, of course, has taken much of the NFL by surprise. After being picked in the fifth round by the Rams, the 6-foot-2 receiver already has 77 catches for 1,029 yards.
Justin Herbert showed during his first three years that he could deliver a clutch drive to either tie or win the game for the Los Angeles Chargers. Like many things gone awry in a disappointing season for the Chargers, Herbert hasn't been able to lead the offense to a late score when needed. The Chargers trailed 13-10 in the fourth quarter and had a chance to possibly send it into overtime after Justin Tucker missed a 44-yard field goal attempt with 2:57 remaining.
Zay Flowers showed a national TV audience how he can impact a game — and added a couple clever touchdown celebrations to boot. Baltimore's offense didn't have many other highlights, but the Ravens did enough to earn another road win. Flowers caught a touchdown pass and scored on a fourth-quarter run, and the Ravens were stout again defensively in their 20-10 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday night.
