TRAGIC granny Mary O’Keeffe’s body was found in a male friend’s burning car, it emerged yesterday.
And the Irish Sun has learnt a can of flammable material in the motor may have caused the horror blaze to get worse with the fuel tank quickly exploding.

Man arrested over woman s death in north Cork

A man in his 60s has been arrested in connection with the death of Mary O Keeffe in north Cork.
Ms O Keeffe, 72, of Dromahane in Mallow, was found dead in a burnt-out car in Dromdeer Woods near Doneraile yesterday afternoon.
The man is being questioned at Fermoy Garda Station on suspicion of unlawful killing.
He was detained at 4pm this afternoon and can be held for 24 hours.
Earlier, the body of Ms O Keeffe was removed from Dromdeer Woods near Doneraile.
The burnt-out car in which her body was discovered was removed for forensic examination this afternoon, along with her own car.

GARDAÍ SAY THEY have arrested a man in his 60s regarding the death of Mary O’Keeffe in north Cork yesterday.
The woman, who was in her 70s, was discovered dead in a burning car in Drumdeer Wood near Doneraile at around 4.30pm.
A man was pulled from the nearby Awbeg River shortly after. He had suffered burn injuries as well as hypothermia.
