Dr Bolster on Friday morning spent two hours examining Ms OâKeeffeâs body in the front seat of the badly burned car, which is registered to the suspect.
Ms OâKeeffeâs body was then moved to CUH, where Dr Bolster carried out a postmortem before making gardaà aware of her findings.
It is understood that Dr Bolster took a number of samples for further analysis to try to establish how exactly Ms OâKeeffe died.
Gardaà are hoping that these further tests, which will take a number of weeks to complete, will indicate whether Ms OâKeeffe was alive or dead when the car went on fire.

A man in his 60s has been arrested in connection with the death of Mary O Keeffe in north Cork.
Ms O Keeffe, 72, of Dromahane in Mallow, was found dead in a burnt-out car in Dromdeer Woods near Doneraile yesterday afternoon.
The man is being questioned at Fermoy Garda Station on suspicion of unlawful killing.
He was detained at 4pm this afternoon and can be held for 24 hours.
Earlier, the body of Ms O Keeffe was removed from Dromdeer Woods near Doneraile.
The burnt-out car in which her body was discovered was removed for forensic examination this afternoon, along with her own car.
The incident happened outside Monasterevin in Co Kildare on Saturday evening.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses in relation to the aggravated burglary that occurred at the isolated house in the Duneany area.
Two men entered the house and assaulted the owner.
He received serious injuries as a result of the assault and was first taken to Naas General Hospital to receive treatment.
But it is understood he was later due to be brought to a Dublin hospital for surgery. Gardaí say a number of items were taken from the house during the aggravated burglary.
They believe the suspects fled the scene in a car.
