(IVECO Italy/NGV Journal) The first bio-LNG station in Southern Italy, a project born and implemented thanks to the collaboration between IVECO, Vulcangas and Distributori Papa for economic sustainability and environmental protection, is located in San Vitaliano, on the Nola motorway exit on the A30 Caserta – Salerno. The new facility, which also supplies bio-CNG, represents a fundamental step towards decarbonization of the transport sector.
During the opening ceremony, IVECO delivered 10 S-WAY trucks powered by LNG: six to Autotrasporti Vitaliano, two to Autotrasporti New Alfieri and two to Bruscino Freddo srl. “We are honored to have taken part in the inauguration of a new service station, the first of its kind in Southern Italy. At IVECO, a leader in the natural gas vehicle sector, we strongly believe in biomethane, today’s solution to the demands of tomorrow,” said Fabrizio Buffa, Market Alternative Propulsions Manager at IVECO Italy.
