New SBI OTP scam alert: Steps to avoid getting duped

The most important thing that one is asked to do is not to click on any link and never to disclose your One-Time Password (OTP).   If you are a State Bank of India (SBI) customer then you should beware of the scams that have been taking place in the name of customer KYC verification. According to the report of CyberPeace Foundation and Autobot Infosec, Chinese hackers are targeting customers in the name of a KYC verification. The scam starts with an SMS or a WhatsApp message. In the message, they ask you to update your KYC through a link that is present in the message itself. Apart from this you also get an email.
