Gary Lee Nelson, age 79, of Saginaw, Minnesota passed away on February 4, 2022 with his wife by his side. Gary was born July 8, 1942 in Duluth, MN. Gary was a loyal, hardworking, tender hearted, man’s man. His greatest joy was his family. Gary is survived by his wife of 55 years: Joan; and his children, that he loved beyond measure: Gary (Dawn Pieti) Nelson, Jr. and Beverly (Michael) Culver. The light of Gary’s life were his grandchildren: Angelina Culver (Andrew Lundberg), and Annika Culver; step grandsons: Austin Carroll and Layton Blacketter; sisters: Carol Beal and Arlene (Jerry) Mager; mother-in-law, Ann Bok; as well as many nieces and nephews. Gary was preceded in death by his parents: Signe (Anderson) Nelson and Knute Nelson; father-in-law: Jake Bok; sisters in law: Cheryl Bok and Ernestine Bok; and other dear family and friends.
