AUSTIN, Texas Central Texans have seen many businesses shutting down because of the COVID-19 pandemic. KVUE wants to help Keep Austin local by highlighting small businesses that might need a little help.
On Wednesday, KVUE stopped by Lammes Candies, an Austin classic that has been around since 1885.
The COVID-19 pandemic forced the candy makers and shop to close for a little bit. Owner Pam Teich said they feel extremely grateful to be open and ready for business. Teich added that they are thankful to their supportive community that helped the local spot stick around.
