After a year of mask mandates, distance learning combined with in-person learning because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Alexandria Area High School Class of 2021 had a near-normal graduation ceremony.
Even masks were optional and few and far between.
Commencement ceremonies were held in-person in the high school s gymnasium Friday, June 4. The ceremony was available to watch through livestreaming not only in the school s Performing Arts Center, but also on the school s website.
