Alejandro Arellano, 31, has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of a 26-year-old woman, whom he allegedly stabbed at least four times with a folding pocket knife. He was ordered held without bail during a hearing Monday.
Rafael Harvey, 17, was charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, attempted vehicular hijacking and other felonies after a shooting that left one man dead and another injured outside a Citgo gas station Tuesday.
Jason McMahan was denied bail during a hearing Wednesday, one day after he was arrested and charged with first-degree murder, two counts of attempted murder and one count of aggravated battery stemming from the fatal shooting of 26-year-old Tashawnna Anderson.
McMahan’s girlfriend called police for a second time when a woman with a gun in her purse tapped on the car’s passenger side window. McMahan got out and punched her in the face, prosecutors said. As she fell to the ground, McMahan fired several shots, striking Tashawna Anderson in the chest and wounding Anderson’s sister in the leg, prosecutors said.
