Incessant rains have brought normal life to standstill killing more than 40 people in the last six days in Bihar. Amid rains wreaking havoc in the state, CM Nitish Kumar faced protests in Patna on Tuesday evening after he went to take stock of the flood situation. The water level in river Ganga has increased in the last 24 hours leading to a flood situation in the state. Sonama panchayat, Khaspur, Jethuli and Punadih panchayat, among others are the most affected places.
