It’s like they say. Better late than never.
Football players, winter track and field athletes, fall dance and cheerleading squad members, and participants in the unified basketball program all have something in common. All of them had their normal seasons canceled by the MIAA over COVID concerns. And now, for this year and this year only, they all began pre-season practices this week for the new Fall II athletic season.
“It was nice to see students outside and doing things once again,” Plymouth North Athletic Director Justin Domingos said. “We’ve got more than 200 athletes signed up to compete, so the kids are taking advantage of the fourth athletic season.”
