Community dedicates batting cage Published by admin on Tue, 04/27/2021 - 7:37am Community R-6 Athletic Booster officers recently honored Jim Brink and Mac McGrew for their contributions to the district by dedicating the district s new batting cage in their honor. Among those present at the ceremony are Amber Forbis, Cindy Fort, Brink, McGrew, Dana Robnett and Mandy Cope. [Vicki Duenke] On Monday, April 12, the Community R-6 Athletic Booster Club honored two men who have made a significant contribution to the Community R-VI athletic program by dedicating its newly constructed batting cage in their honor. Those people are retired Trojans baseball, basketball, softball, and PE coach Jim Brink and retired groundskeeper and custodian Mac McGrew.
