All sorts of advisories, Winter Weather advisories, lake, winter storm warnings and a Flash Flood Watch is on for a lot of rain. Over the next couple days fingerprint you are going township tahoe there is a lot of snow. Ly measure it in feet. I can expect it to go up over the next couple days and then go way up over the weekend. Good line of rain for some. Around antioch. Back over to there is one. Bursts of moderate rain over highway 24. Were in the middle of people headed in and out of town, jam packed acknowledge Law Enforcement officers, say this is only part of the equation. Statistically, tonight is the worst night for drinking. Its even beenu beware whats going on out there. Reporter Law Enforcement across the country says its particularly bad day for alcohol related crashes and only the start of the season. During the holidays, aaa says 45 thats a huge number and we dont like to see that number. The solution, they say designate a driver or better yet, call for a ride if youve been drinking. Today the secretary is expected to deliver the results of his own internal audit to president obama and expected to speak before a group of Homeless Veterans. We are in washington. Republican House Speaker john boehner and harry reid are in agreement that they should not at this point call for secretary shinsekis resignation, but that is not the dominant theme on capitol hill this morning. Are you willing to see a bunch of First Responders lose their job because you want to protect some special interest tax loophole . Are you willing to have teachers laid off or kids not have access to head start . Or deeper cuts in student loan programs . Just because you want to protect the special tax interest loophole that the vast majority of americans dont benefit from. Thats the choice. Thats the question. And this is not an abstraction. There are people whose livelihoods are at stake. There are communities that will be impacted in a negative way. I know that sometimes all this squabbling in washington seems very abstract. And in the abstract, people like the idea, you know, there must be some spending we can cut. There must be some waste out there. There absolutely is, but this isnt the right way to do it. So my door is open. I put cuts and reforms on the table. I am willing to work with anybody to get this job done. None of us will get 100 of what we want. Nobody should want the
