Those who have yet to get their Covid-19 vaccinations in Sandakan are urged to get vaccinated at the Sandakan mobile health office clinic.
Sandakan Health Officer Dr Johari Awang Besar said the mobile clinic, which is actually a modified truck, offers comfortable facilities for vaccine recipients, including a bed and air conditioning, and also provides booster shots.
Those who have missed their second vaccination appointments are also encouraged to get vaccinated at the mobile clinic
Sabah detected a new Covid-19 cluster in Sandakan, Wednesday, involving at least 24 students of a polytechnic.

Three DAP divisions in Sandakan comprising 180 members quit the party, Friday, following in the footsteps of former Sabah DAP Chairman Datuk Jimmy Wong who did so on Monday.
The three divisions were Taman Megah, Batu 8 Jalan Labuk and Kg Ulu Dusun. In order to comply with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), only representatives from the three divisions attended the letter signing session on Thursday night

Operators of business premises here are urged to monitor and check the authenticity of the MySejahtera identification shown by the public before they are allowed to enter their premises.
Sandakan Area Health Officer Dr Johari Awang Besar made this call following reports of fake Mysejahtera identifications shown by irresponsible individuals to enter premises.
“I was informed of several unvaccinated individuals possessing the Mysejahtera ID of someone else to enter business premises, government buildings and even for inter-state travel.
“This is a serious matter which can jeopardise the life of others by carrying the Covid-19 virus to every location they go,” he said
