Sandakan saw a 32.8 percent increase in Covid-19 cases in the first five weeks of 2022 compared to the first eight weeks of 2021.  Dr. Johari Awang Besar, the Sandakan Area Health Officer, said the total number of cases in February 2022 increased by 254 per cent compared to the total number of cases in February 2021
