Good morning to you. We have some updates here to lane blockage along 275 and i4. This is due to an earlier motorcycle involved crash that had all the drivers on i4 westbound unable to get on to 275 south. Forced to take detour northbound. What we are seeing even though we have big delays. Drivers now from i4 west can get to 275. So those lanes are open. Just moments ago we saw, we had skyfox monitoring downtown exits. Those are now open. So we are going some improvements to travel times. But it will take awhile. Because road was shut down for hours. You can see this is earlier video of the area. And what we know is that it does involve a motorcyclist that apparently was involved in this wreck. Slammed into the barrier and unfortunately passed away. We have the lanes open. This is earlier aerial video when downtown exit was closed. And 275 south was open. And delays are still bad. So drivers are still urged to either plan extra time or use some work around. I am going to just clarify.
Boulevard. According to the sheriffs office. A truck struck Austin Crawford as they rode bikes. The bay turned and traveled into the road and the passing driver hit him. Neighbors and family tried to save him by performing cpr. And medics transported him to the hospital for treatment but he did not survive. Now, according to the polk county deputies, the driver involved cooperating with investigators. This is still an ongoing case. They are working the case. And well follow this throughout the day and bring you any new information as it is available. He doesnt have no bit of compassion. Road. The Highway Patrol arrested nikolaos konstantinou last night in his home. They linked him to the crime through his insurance company. He filed a claim after that accident happened. It was late on ends with night on hillsborough avenue and 17yearold Ashley Perdomo was trying to cross the street after leaving work when she was hit and killed. There was a vigil for her last night. This crime together and there is a whole lot of work to be done. All of this began a few blocks down the road from here where the victim and shooter apparently exchanged some words. I want you to look at some video from a short time ago, all this coming to a head right outside the Shopping Center right here again during rush hour. Two cars stopped in traffic, one in front, the other in the back. The guy in the front car gets out, exchanges words with the guy that guy then shot and killed him. Then get this. The shooter pulls off the road and waits for deputies to arrive.
