Reporter that hearing is set for 1 30 this afternoon, huffman was booked into the county jail last night behind me and in a matter of hours shell be walked from the county jail to the county courthouse a few steps away to face charges. Also this morning were getting a first look at her latest mug shot. Shes become officially charged with leaving the been officially charged with leaving death. She was caught last night at an apartment complex in st. Pete after a daylong search. Investigators believe she drove off after hitting tow truck driver roger perez on the Howard Frankland just before rush hour on monday morning. Perez was helping a stranded happened. Huffmans damaged car was found not far from the accident hotel. Weve also learned that huffman has a long history of trouble with the law with a number of to legally drive. The roads are mainly wet south of i4, the blue area is where we have ponding left over from the rain but all along i75 dry out there since the overnight rain. Terrible time for that. In Pembroke Pines roofs damaged, trees uprooted and a basketball hoop ended up right there, in a swimming pool. Severe weather also hitting Pompano Beach where buildings including Storage Facility for the Goodyear Blimp were all damaged. Horse trailers and stables hit also by strong winds. C`nstance in hollywood a couple had to be rescued out of their damagedobile home. The storm also knocked down trees in that area. And boats ended up under water in ft. Lauderdale beach due to the Severe Weather. Strong winds also tossed paddleboards into the bushes. Kristi lets keep talking about the Severe Weather. Sure were tuning in to julie for the update for the weather. Fortunately, its going to be effecting our roadways. The only thing affecting our roadways is i95 and southwest 7th street. You might have saw that video from that bad accident happening in downtown miami when that dump truck went over i95. That exit ramp is still shut down completely this morning for anyone traveling into miami. Youre going to want to exit just a little bit earlier. Also if youre in that area in downtown miami, southwest Fourth Avenue, northboundsouthbound shut down right at southwest fourth street. Okay. Police have that area blocked off. Of course this is going to be an Ongoing Investigation there. A lot of construction concerns. Broward county if youre traveling southbound at i75 at sheridan street, that exit ramp is partially bloloed. Right now a man in serious condition after his garbage truck smashed through an i95 crashing down an overpass. A truck landing 100 feett below into miamis jose marty park.

At around 92 noon crews started change and National Weather Service Officials arrived on sight site to survey the damage like this massive tree uprooted by the winds. Its roots lifted the heavy concrete sidewalk from its foundation. Ive been through a lot of hurricanes. It was nothing l le that. Hatzel folks from the National Weather service are looking at a several things, what direction the trees face. If theyre facing Different Directions thats a sign of rotation.
