CENTRAL CRIME BRANCH TO INVESTIGATE VJ CHITRA DEATH CASE
Hemnath is alleged to have swindled money from three students to the tune of Rs 1 crore, promising the students medical admission. A case was filed in 2014 by a student named Asha Manoharan who claimed that she and two other students had paid Hemnath Rs 35 lakh each to get admission in MBBS for the year 2011. Not only were they not given the promised seat, but Hemnath had also not repaid the amount that he took despite repeated requests from the students and their respective families.
