Aryan Khan drug case: Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, who was arrested months ago in a drug case by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) was given clean chit by the anti-drug agency.
In its chargesheet running over 6000 pages giving clean chit to 5 others with Aryan Khan, NCB found there was no recovery of drugs from Khan and no sufficient evidence to implicate him.
".Sadly, in many cases, arrest comes first and investigation follows," Chidambaram said. This is a "perversion" of the procedure established by law, Chidambaram added.
"A complaint against 14 persons under various sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act is being filed. Complaint against rest six persons is not being filed due to the lack of evidence," the Deputy Director-General (DDG) of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) said.
