The CBI has initiated a preliminary inquiry into alleged irregularities, including violation of tender rules, in the construction of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal official residence in the city's Civil Line area.
Renovation of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's official residence incurred a total cost of Rs 52.71 crore, according to a "factual report" submitted by the Delhi government's Vigilance Directorate to the lieutenant governor.
National Green Tribunal (NGT) on Tuesday constituted a joint committee to ascertain the factual position on the allegations of violating environmental norms during the construction of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's residence.
