San Francisco Police arrested a woman who stabbed a man on a busy section of Market Street this morning. Abc 7 news was on the corner of market and 7th street as officers collected evidence. Investigators say the woman approached a man just before noon and stabbed him several times in the neck. A Security Guard at a nearby pharmacy says he had a runin with the suspect at the store just moments before the stabbing. She came in very fast, dropped her bags very quick and said im going to kill somebody, im hurt somebody. The woman threw a sharp object in the mailbox. Sheriffs deputy here protecting the scene until investigators get back out here at first light to finish processing their crime scene. Officers now in their 15th hour on this investigation. According to the east bay times, they were called out here because of a fight in the street. And they followed a trail of blood to a home where they found a 41yearold man dead inside. They are classifying this as a homicide and are actively looking for the killer. They havent said how the man was killed. No new details but this crash, westbound 80 before you get to Central Avenue, three vehicles involved, blocking the left center lane and youre backing up into the East Richmond area so a little under two miles but if thats blocking for long, thats a bad spot.
