Over the last several years, we have been traveling with our our Reach Program in interpreting the war of 1812, knowing that in 1914, we were going to have an opportunity to talk about the things that happened here, which we think are really very important and very special. Its also important to acknowledge that september 11 is a powerful date in history. I spoke to my elderly mom today in new york city, and she told me she was watching tv where they were reciting the names of all the folks who lost their lives back in.
