Police say this gmc truck with seven people inside was speeding south on park street when it clipped a Toyota Sienna minivan. The impact caused the truck to go out of control and hit a tree before coming to rest in the parking lot of alameda bicycle, a full block away. A female in the truck died at the scene. A male also in the truck was taken to highlands hospital in oakland where he died. Police say other people who were in the truck were hurt and taken to area hospitals.
