JAMMU, Nov 25: Indian Railway has completed nearly 60 percent work on India’s longest rail tunnel which is 12.75 km long on the Udhampur-Baramulla-Srinagar Rail (UBSR) Link in Jammu and Kashmir. Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], February 22 (ANI/NewsVoir): A major milestone was achieved on the Udhampur Srinagar Baramulla Rail Link project (USBRL) on February 15, 2022, with the breakthrough of Tunnel T49 between Sumber and Arpinchala Stations on the ongoing Katra-Banihal Section.
The Indian Railways successfully achieved the line and level breakthrough of the 12.758 kilometre long T-49 tunnel in Jammu and Kashmir. The major milestone was achieved on Tuesday, informed the Northern Railway.
