New Delhi: As more skeletons kept on tumbling out of the closet, a leaked conversation between Republic TV s Arnab Goswami and former BARC chief Partho Dasgupta hinted that Goswami was hobnobbing with the Prime Minister s Office (PMO).
In the conversation, Dasgupta asks the Republic TV s Editor-in-Chief about his planned meeting with the PMO, to which the latter responds by saying ASAP . The News Broadcasting Federation (NBF), which was headed by Goswami himself, was supposed to meet with the PMO.
Dasgupta, who is in judicial custody for his alleged involvement in a fake TRP case, was rushed to the hospital by Taloja Central Jail authorities last night.

The Mumbai police have annexed alleged conversations between the Republic TV founder and former BARC CEO Partho Dasgupta in a supplementary chargesheet. The discussions also reveal Goswami has connections in high places and was aware of many key Central government decisions.

Mumbai: In the ongoing investigation into the alleged manipulation of television rating points (TRP), the Mumbai police has submitted damning messages that were allegedly exchanged between Republic TV editor Arnab Goswami and Partho Dasgupta, the former chief executive officer (CEO) of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) discussing ways to âmanipulateâ the ratings.
