It is to collect objects that preserve the legacy of american medicine. What we will show you today are highlights of the Museum Collections from the last 150 years in areas of military medicine, Human Anatomy and pathology, forensic identification, bioengineering, and a special few artifacts we have on display here. So, come along. We have moved into an exhibit on military medicine. But we start our tour today with this object, the floor of what was known as trauma bay 2 from the Theater Hospital in iraq. From 2003 until 2007, during the height of the iraq war, the Theater Hospital served as the evacuation point where american soldiers were treated before being flown to germany and the United States for the next level of care. Elocution that would have been bewildering. He came at psychiatry from a Public Health perspective, and he began as somebody who was an advocate for Mental Health and the prevention of Mental Illness. Also for training doctors to that this is a legitimate form of medicine. People at a time when who were incarcerated in institutions where therefore reasons that were not medical illness. Many people who had tertiary syphilis had Mental Illness kinds of symptoms. Many people that chronic alcoholism, people who we would think of is to build mentally disabled, people with cerebral palsy. A great range of disabilities that made people be marked as and warehoused way. Initially his work was in the National Community for Mental Hygiene trying to differentiate tween the kind of Mental Illness he was confident that could be cured and the kinds that were caused i again it brain injury. There are a few witnesses who were not brought in. They were witnesses who, one didnt make a statement. There were a couple who just disappeared. We spent a lot of time searching for them. And with the assistance of the f. B. I. But were unable to locate a couple of them. So none of the information though in one case i think we had a statement from the witness. It wasnt presented to the grand jury. Like i said i think there were couple of them. You cite officer wilsons description of browns Movement Towards him as a charge. Was there any other evidence that might have led the grand jury to conclude that wilson had probable cause for the use of force . Im not privy to the zhrib rations so i cant say what they saw as highly significant or not. But they had all the information and they were charged with and they were told that here is what the law requires that you consider all the evidence and the information. So its not just, as in most cases it is not just one bit of evidence that says
She said it is a slap in the face to americans nationwide who continue to hope and believe that justice will prevail. She went on to say that the decision seems to undermine the unwritten rule that black lives hold no value. My heart goes out to all the loved ones of all all the Michael Browns we have buried in this country. From ohio, democrats line. What do you think . I think it is a sad thing to see our young men killed. Thed not appreciate gentlemans comment from new york attacking liberals and how they feel about things. I think that was unjust. But i do want to tell the parents of michael that my heart goes out to them. This young man did make a mistake. He did something he shouldnt have done. I dont feel that he should have been killed. I think he could have been shot once in the leg and it would have brought him down, and then he could have been apprehended. Understood, he was shot in the top of the head. Now, if he was shot in the top of the head, to me, that would be murder.
