Odisha Lok Sabha election 2024: This battle is a personal one between the Singh Deo royal family of Bolangir and Adrija Manjari Singh, who is the ex-wife of Arkesh Singh Deo. She is the grand-daughter of former Prime Minister VP Singh, also known as Raja of Manda.
The police say investigation is ongoing against the Singh Deo royals ‘on the basis of the earlier FIR’ and that they are looking into the matter. But an FIR citing domestic violence despite multiple complaints is yet to be registered.
