THE surface at Denbigh Town Football Club s home ground is taking shape after undergoing an extensive makeover during the last few weeks. Central Park may not have seen any footballing action over the last year and a bit, but that has not stopped the club from working behind the scenes there. Denbigh Town will play in the newly-formed Ardal North West League (tier three) when football returns. The club is currently carrying out work on its home ground to replace the current drainage and install a sprinkler system serviced by the club s very own bore hole. Club officials hope they can play home matches there as soon as August.
