2 hotel and visitor concept in Rovaniemi, Finland [Deadline: 14 July 2021]
Teams featuring at least one member aged under 35 are invited to draw up proposals for a sustainable, accessible and harmonious accommodation facility on the prominent Ounasvaara Hill which overlooks the capital of Finland’s northernmost Lapland province.

Submissions may explore the potential for a new ‘Arctic Sky Hotel’ focussing on views of the Aurora Borealis; an ‘Arctic Landscape Hotel’ providing a base for adventure holidays; an ‘Arctic Sky Centre’ hosting intellectual, educational, or sports activities; or an ‘Arctic Art Hotel’ combining overnight accommodation with a museum. Concepts may include underground sections but must not exceed 8m in height.
