Shurooq offers 11 winter getaway experiences across Sharjah SHARJAH, February 14, 2021 From luxurious escapes in heritage-inspired retreats to adventurous stays at premium desert retreats, Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) is offering six unique destinations as the perfect getaway for those longing to get out and be in the open, said a report.   Shurooq’s winter packages cover The Chedi Al Bait Sharjah, managed by GHM Hotels; its three eco-retreats – Mysk Kingfisher retreat, Mysk Al Badayer retreat and Mysk Al Faya retreat– all developed under the Sharjah Collection brand by Shurooq, and managed by ‘Mysk by Shaza’; the Mleiha Archaeological & Ecotourism Project; and Heart of Sharjah by Shurooq, news agency WAM reported.

URL copied 50 archaeological sites found in Prayagraj Nearly 50 archaeological sites have been found in Prayagraj by a team from the Department of Ancient History, Culture, and Archaeology in the Ishwar Saran PG College. The team conducted an archaeological village-to-village survey on foot in the vicinity of the confluence of the Ganga and the Yamuna rivers of Prayagraj, from Jhunsi to Shringverpur and from Daraganj to Kali Paltan in Kaushambhi district on both sides of the Ganga river. The survey stretched for 70 km on the ground surface and 3 to 5 km (in width) on both sides of the river. It was carried out under the direction of principal of the college and head of the department and project director, Professor Anand Shankar Singh and the project deputy director and Assistant Professor Jamil Ahmad, along with his team.
