The workers were cut from eight offices in Santa Clara, according to the filings under the state’s Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, also known as WARN.

As per the reports, the team, currently based in San Diego, is facing a relocation request to Austin, Texas. Apple wants the San Diego squad to merge with its Texas counterpart.
