The advertisement is signed in lowercase letters with Mr Jobs' full name, "Steven Jobs." The phone number and address of his parents' house, which served as the Apple Computer Company's first headquarters.
The artifact is a draft of an original advertisement for the Apple-1 Computer, penned by Steve Jobs in its entirety. Accompanying the handwritten ad were two color glossy Polaroid photos taken at The Byte Shop in Mountain View, California.
An Apple-1 computer signed by co-founder Steve Wozniak is being sold at auction and is expected to fetch around $200,000. The machine helped launch the Apple empire and set in motion the company that in June became the first publicly traded business to close a trading day with a $3tn market value.
It is believed that the current owner of the Apple-1 computer prototype could get over $5,00,000, which is around Rs 40 Lakhs in India when converted. Â
