Christine Benedict, in her letter Support for Zeldin s gubernatorial campaign, April 17, extolls the virtues of U.S. Rep. Lee Zeldin, who is currently seeking the Republican nomination for New York governor. A quick internet dive into Zeldin s political record will provide food for thought for any discerning voter, but most concerning is a fact that Benedict omitted: one that arguably should disqualify him from holding public office. Zeldin actively and enthusiastically promoted what has come to be known as The Big Lie, the false narrative pushed by sycop

With Long Island Congressional representative Lee Zeldin officially entering the 2022 gubernatorial race, the effort to save New York state from financial ruin is underway. With Zeldin, the state GOP has everything it could possibly hope for in a candidate: a scandal-free family man with a strong military record who has a history of upsetting entrenched Democrats and has a national profile as a weekly guest on various cable stations.

I read Christine Benedict s letter, Support for Zeldin s gubernatorial campaign, April 17, extolling the qualifications of Lee Zeldin, Congressman and Republican candidate for governor. What Benedict didn’t explain was Zeldin’s support to overthrow the election results of President Joe Biden. He called for the votes in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin to be thrown out.
Zeldin s congressional record ratings by advocacy organizations are: conservation, 14 percent; human rights, 7 percent; and Planned Parenthood, zero percent.

Tempest Storm, one of the most celebrated strippers of midcentury burlesque, who continued plying her craft until she was in her 80s not because she had to, but because she could died on Tuesday at her home in Las Vegas. She was 93.
Harvey Robbins, her longtime manager, confirmed the death.
Routinely named in the same ardent breath as the great 20th-century ecdysiasts Lili St. Cyr, Blaze Starr and Gypsy Rose Lee, Storm was every inch as ecdysiastical as they, and for far longer. Almost certainly the last of her ilk, she was, at her height in the 1950s and early ’60s, famous the world over, as celebrated for her flame-red tresses as for her vaunted 40-inch bust.
