Border Patrol Agents Arrest Two Female Smugglers   HIDALGO, TX Border Patrol agents seized nearly $2 million worth of methamphetamine and cocaine at the Hidalgo and Anzalduas International Bridges last week. According to CBP, on Sunday a 54-year-old Oklahoma woman arrived at the  Hidalgo-Reynosa International Bridge in a Chrysler Pacifica. After the initial inspection, the woman was referred to a secondary investigation. With the help of a canine unit, officers discovered liquid methamphetamine in the SUV’s gas tank. A total of 90 pounds of the drug worth with a street value of $1,802,000 was placed in plastic containers. A few days before, a  26-year-old female from Texas traveling in a  Ford Edge was referred to secondary inspection after arriving at the  Anzalduas International Bridge. The subsequent inspection revealed 10 packages, weighing 24.65 pounds, of alleged cocaine hidden inside the vehicle. The narcotics had a street value of $190,000.
