KUALA LUMPUR: A police officer who was at the scene of the fight in Bangsar here that led to the death of a 28-year-old man, was unarmed and on leave at the time. Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Anuar Omar confirmed this when asked to comment on a video that showed the policeman was at the scene. The policeman in question is an officer from the Kuala Selangor Criminal Investigation Department. During preliminary interviews, he confirmed that he was the man in the video. He was in Bangsar with a friend for dinner and at the time of the incident, he and his friend were headed to their parked car there.
