NEW DELHI: Two Covid positive senior citizens with cardiac complications admitted at a private healthcare facility here have been administered monoclonal antibody therapy which is said to reduce the chance of hospitalisation by 70 per cent in patients with mild to moderate symptoms, the hospital said on Thursday.
While advocating rational use of the Covid-19 monoclonal antibody cocktail, former ICMR scientist Dr Raman Gangakhedkar said the treatment is unlikely to result in further mutations of the virus.
